Azra Sayeed

Azra Talat Sayeed works with Roots for Equity. Her primary areas of work have been focused on anti-globalisation/anti-imperialism especially in the context of rural economy. She has worked to both organise and mobilise small and landless farmers against feudalism, capitalism, and patriarchy in Pakistan.

Azra has served as the Chair of International Women’s Alliance (IWA), a global militant platform for grassroot women. She has also served in APWLD in various capacities since 1999.
