This is Sheila
by Fiji Women's Rights Movement (FWRM)
Sheila the mannequin is a social experiment aimed at raising awareness on sexual and gender-based violence against women and girls. The mannequin was named Sheila because the name is often used as a derogatory slang to refer to women and girls..Sheila represents the physical manifestation of the pain, fear, hurt and trauma that women and girls have endured at the hands of patriarchy. APFF participants also have an opportunity to interact with Sheila.
