Workshop
Dear Feminists, … Sincerely, Young People
by Women’s Global Network on Reproductive Rights (WGNRR)
Day 1
3pm
2 hours
English, Thai
Key questions:
What does genuine and meaningful participation of young people entail in feminist and SRHR spaces? What do young people need in order to effectively engage in the SRHR movement and feminist activism? How can stakeholders, including CSOs, funders, and governmental representatives, better support and empower young activists?
Our activity focuses on amplifying young voices from the Global South, exploring genuine and meaningful participation and leadership in SRHR. The youth-led dialogue will dive into challenging topics that often go unaddressed, such as tokenism, inadequate investments in youth initiatives, the importance of diversity and inclusion, and the subtle nuances of privilege within SRHR spaces.
