Embodying Voices: Feminist Art as a Means of Expression
Our seminar is Feminist Art. Working with clay. Through clay products we will allow participants to express through art: feminist struggle, struggle for their rights, feminists against globalization, economic equality, environmental issues, political activism and rights, resistance to hegemony, resistance to militarism, “nothing about us, without us” that any decisions, laws, policies or programs affecting a particular group of people must be developed with their active participation, consultation and direct participation.
We will bring with us finished clay products in the form of tabletop souvenir plates, the participants will paint them with paint brushes. There are templates that participants can use. We will bring paint brushes, paints and everything you need. We need a hall, tables in the middle, and chairs on both sides for the participants. On the table in the middle, we will put all the paints, brushes, plates, clay products. Our methodology is an information seminar briefly about our Womanifesto 2021-2023, and we will tell you that these clay plates are made by the hands of teenagers whose mothers were imprisoned.
In this way, our Masters Sabrina and Aziza will help participants decorate their products. Final conclusions from the master class on feminist art. Art as a means of self-expression. Working with clay and creating products becomes a powerful tool for self-expression and expression of one’s feelings and indicates the importance of protecting one’s own rights.
Through the symbolism and metaphors embodied in the clay works created, workshop participants are able to convey complex concepts related to equality, freedom and self-expression. Working as a team on clay products helps build solidarity and support among participants. This creates a society where every woman can feel valid and important.
Working with clay allows us to highlight the uniqueness of each creative work, emphasizing the importance of the individuality of each woman and her right to self-expression. A master class on feminist art using clay stimulates the processes of art therapy, helping participants maintain emotional balance and express their rights through creativity. Thus, a master class on working with clay products is not only a way to create works of art, but also a powerful tool for expressing your rights, values and solidarity in the context of feminist ideas and the fight for equality.
