Pacific Feminist Approaches to Access to Justice – Sharing from our small Pacific Island States

Key discussions include structural discrimination, harmful gender norms, biases, practices and stereotypes driven by culture, tradition and religion that is seeping into institutions of. The threat of anti-women’s rights, human rights and gender infiltrating the access to formal justice systems will also be discussed. Access to formal justice systems is critical and lifesaving for the prevention and elimination of intimate partner violence for women and girls in Pacific Small Island Developing States.
